I have worked with Kim Bresden, Principal of White Sands Design International on a number of remodel projects in my home and on my property. Our first project together was a remodel of my master bath. Kim made sure to understand what I was looking for in terms of the look, what materials I wanted to use and the overall feeling I wanted. She used that input and created a master bath retreat with a masculine, spa look which was exactly what I was envisioning. When I was ready to remodel the other two bathrooms in my home, she transformed them as well.

Kim Bresden, Principal of WSDI worked on a retainer basis for Lifestyle Retirement Communities for a period of nine years. During the time her services were being retained, she provided interior design consultation for all of our properties across Canada. I met Kim about 10 years ago at a cabinet showroom and after speaking with her for awhile, hired her to help me give my bathroom a make-over. The house was built in the 60’s and most things had not been touched. I had never worked with a designer before, but she was very easy to talk to and made me feel comfortable having her work on the job. She answered my questions, asked me questions as well and had a great way of communicating her thoughts so I could make decisions. She started out the project by asking me what my favorite colors were and what types of things did I really like. With those answers, she created a stunning new bathroom for me. I couldn’t believe the transformation and neither could any of my friends and family that came to see it!
